The Auckland Dance Club has been bringing people together through the joy of social dancing for many years. Every second Sunday evening, we gather at St Aidan's Church Hall in Remuera for three hours of dancing with a live band, good company, and a cup of tea.
What to expect at a dance
Our evenings feature a wonderful mix of dance styles — something for everyone, whether you're a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner:
- Ballroom — Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep
- Latin — Cha-cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive
- Rock'n'Roll — high energy and great fun
- New Vogue — a uniquely Australasian tradition
- Line Dancing — no partner needed!
- Mixer dances — a wonderful way to meet new friends
Entry is just $15 per person, which includes a light supper and complimentary tea or coffee (please bring your own mug!). No booking required — simply turn up at 6:30pm.
